Dual ESS Sabre PRO DAC chips
The DX200 runs on a pair of ESS Sabre ES9028PRO, which are 32-bit, 8-channel PRO series high end digital analogue converters designed for the most discerning audiophile or demanding music enthusiast. Based on ESS patented HyperStreamDAC technology, the ES9028PRO lends outstanding performance with 135dB dynamic range (DNR) and -120dB total harmonic distortion and noise (THD+N).
Dual Accusilicone crystal oscillators
DX200 utilizes two femto second crystal oscillators from Accusilicone, which accompanied with ES9028PRO's jitter eliminator, ensure extremely low jitter performance and noise from the DX200.
8-core SoC ensuring smooth performance
Equipped with the ARM Cortex-A53 system-on-chip processor, accompanied with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM, the DX200 ensure buttery smooth playback and user interface transitions when in use.
Android 6.0 and Linux-Mango dual operating system
The DX200 is a dual-bootable device, with Android 6.0 for flexibility with applications such as Spotify, Tidal and Moove, and iBasso's in-house developed version of the Linux Mango operating system, which enables specialised operation environment for the best sound quality.
Swappable output modules
To enable maximum flexibility, the DX200 features a swappable amplifier module, which enables the user to switch between different modules for different needs, such as a lower power output module for user with highly sensitive in-ear monitors, or high output module for headphones with high impedance.
USB DAC mode
Taking advantage of the XMOS XU208 USB receiver and Thesycon USB driver, allowing the DX200 to be a full function USB DAC that is considered one of the best portable USB DAC in the market.
